On March 23, 2015, staff brought forward a motion and
information report for Council consideration. The motion was to award the Engineering Services Contract for the Ross Street Underpass Detailed Design in the amount of $433,050. This project will be funded through
Development Cost Charges that are paid to the City by developers for infrastructure projects. In this case, for several years builders who have developed properties on the lakeside of the railroad tracks paid monies into a special levy for underpass related projects.
