The city's infrastructure is designed and constructed pursuant to sound engineering practices, while also ensuring public and environmental protection, all in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Long-term goals are to protect and enhance the environment, conserve energy, and increase the demand for efficient transportation, such as our public transit system.
