Staying Safe During a Flood

The City of Salmon Arm is committed to the safety of residents and property. The snowpack on the mountains, the water level of Shuswap Lake and the water level of Salmon River are monitored on a regular basis. A Flood Management Action Plan is initiated as water levels approach critical elevations that threaten infrastructure, property and/or personal safety.
