With over 123 kilometres of accessible routes, the trail network links key destinations such as the waterfront, the South Canoe trail system, Turner Creek, and numerous city parks. From gentle nature paths to more challenging terrain, Salmon Arm’s trails support both recreation and active transportation, making it easy and enjoyable to explore the community outdoors.

Greenways Strategy

Salmon Arm's Greenways Strategy (PDF) was approved in 2011. The Strategy envisions an interconnected network of greenways and trails serving all forms of nonvehicular movement and all ability levels, linking the City Centre, neighbourhoods and major points of interest with each other and with surrounding lands, and providing healthy transportation, outdoor recreation, tourism opportunities and ecological connectivity.
