The City of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap Recreation Society invite qualified and experienced Hazardous Material abatement and painting contractors to submit proposals for the preparation and repainting of the specified metal skylight at the SASCU Recreation Centre located at 2550 10^th Ave NE, Salmon Arm, BC. The facility was constructed in 1986 and as such, contains some hazardous materials within its construction, including lead paint. The goal of this project is to safely remove the existing lead-based paint and rust from the existing steel beams and supports from the skylight above the wading pool and protect the interior envelope using a durable coating system that will withstand the harsh pool environment.

Proposals may be sent by mail, courier, or e-mail. One (1) complete hard copy or electronic copy of the proposal must be submitted to:
