Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Salmon Arm is inviting proposals for the supply of Climate Resiliency Plan (CRP) consulting services from December 2024 to July 2025. The City is seeking a consultant who will collaborate with City staff and stakeholders to create a Climate Resiliency Plan for presentation and approval by City Council. The planning process will start with a Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) for climate-related risks, identify broad disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation goals and create a recommended implementation plan of adaptation and risk mitigation measures, along with GHG emissions reduction measures, that maximize co-benefits between competing priorities.
