Are you spring cleaning or working in the garden? Here is a list of common items and how to properly dispose of them.

Yard and Garden
Soil and mulch bags
These are DEPOT ONLY items and may be returned (empty) to Bill’s Bottle Depot (Outside) or the Salmon Arm Landfill Depot along with your other plastic bags and overwrap.

Plastic plant pots and seedling trays
These may be placed in your blue bag for CURBSIDE collection.

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District will be running a free YARD/GARDEN AND METAL WASTE event at the Salmon Arm Landfill from April 15 to May 28, 2017. Please visit the CSRD’s web page for more information.
