Can I find out if my property is subdividable without making a subdivision application to the city?
The city can only provide limited information about a property’s subdivision potential and how the city’s bylaws may apply to a subdivision proposal before an application is made. An Application for Preliminary Subdivision Review is necessary in order for an owner or developer to confirm if a property is subdividable and to determine the associated costs.
