Outstanding Taxes and Utilities are Due

Taxes and utilities that are due and outstanding on December 31, will be transferred to arrears taxes. Arrears and delinquent property taxes are subject to interest as prescribed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (Province of British Columbia) pursuant to Section 11(3) of the Taxation (Rural Area) Act until paid or recovered.

Retroactive Home Owner Grant

The last date to claim a Retroactive Home Owner Grant is December 31. Additional information is required to process a Retroactive Home Owner Grant. Home Owner Grant Applications claimed after December 31, require approval by the Home Owner Grant Branch in Victoria, BC and must include additional evidence of residency.
